Meinst Du das beispielsweise der fehlende Kopierschutz ein Fehler war?

Wir hoffen, nein. Allerdings sind die Torrentzahlen bedenklich hoch gewesen bei Launch :-(

Kopierschutz hin oder her.

good thing to have google chrome to translate all that xD i think the game will advance more in long term. don't forget all of europe has economy problems, other less other more. in the beginning it wasn't really any visible difference, but those last couple of months i've seen a decline myself in gaming.

This might stray a bit off topic at first.

Recently bought this game with the steam sale which is a shame since I wish I had discovered it sooner and payed a much fairer price for it, so currently searching for an English retail version of the game hoping it exists.

Graphically this game is one of the most impressive Hack & Slash games I've seen and played sure it might be lacking in content but it keeps drawing me back somehow be it the simple gameplay that is somehow gratifying or the never ending mission of finding better gear for my character, who knows I sure don't but that does not stop me from playing the hell out of it.

As for the lack of copy protection and piracy thinking it was a mistake, that's not the case.

Copy protection that is just a waste of money and a huge hindrance for customers if poorly done which then will reflect badly on the publisher and developers and potentially prevent people from buying the current or next title from said people.

And for pirated games, those are never a lost sale because most people would have never bought the game in the first place.
But there are those who pirate just to see what the game is like and you might argue that is what demo's are for yet those do not always represent the final product, more than once have I been let down because a demo showed more promise than what the full game could offer or I bought a game in good faith only to be disappointed by its lack of content.
Still there is always a possibility that a pirated version it will generate a purchase from the people who enjoyed the game and want to support developers.

A lot of publishers/developers always talk or are quoted about the number of pirated copies but always seem to neglect the sales which feels like a slap in the face for the people who actually bought the game.

But that is just my take on it.

All in all this game is great and I would like to see more of it in the future be it in the form of an expansion(s) or just a full fledged sequel.

We too wish you had ;-)

Anyway, we have signed with a US partner, but its is likely that it will take until Q4 2010 until we can hit retail in the US.

Indubitably, would have had a higher level character too then by now. :D
